Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals in an assisted living or medical facility. You will follow therapeutic diets, assist with dining space setup, service, and sanitation.

You should hold a valid Food Handler Certificate, have experience in dietary aides or hospitality, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation and serve meals per diet and portion standards.
• Set, clear, clean, and sanitize dining spaces.

• Monitor and restock service areas.
• Observe HACCP guidelines for safe handling/preparation.
• Follow WHIMIS and MSDS guidelines when using cleaning agents.
