Job summary

As a Dietary Aide at Sienna Senior Living, you’ll support residents in a long-term care setting by assisting with meals, following dietary plans and maintaining a clean dining environment. You’ll join a caring team dedicated to dignity, comfort and meaningful daily connections with residents and their life stories.

You will need a Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or be willing to obtain one; prior food service experience and strong customer service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or be willing to obtain
• Commitment to providing compassionate support for seniors
• Strong communication with residents and staff
• Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals and serving meals
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences
• Take the menu orders from the residents; set and clear tables in dining rooms
• Ensure proper food handling techniques and sanitation in dining areas
