Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide for Cawthra Gardens Community in Mississauga. You will contribute to residents' well-being by supporting dietary services and delivering care with compassion.

This role emphasizes meaningful relationships, safe food handling, and collaboration with a caring team. Starting rate is $22.41 per hour under the collective agreement, reflecting the value of the role in our long-term care homes.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willing to obtain.
• Committed to providing compassionate support that helps seniors live their lives to the fullest.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service and communication skills for residents and staff.
• Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality is a plus.
• Food Service Worker Certificate is not required but would be excellent.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and serving meals.
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences and take menu orders.
• Set and clear dining tables and ensure sanitation.
• Contribute to a safe and clean environment for residents.
