Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide for Streetsville Community to support long-term care residents through meals and compassionate service. The role emphasizes building meaningful connections with residents and ensuring safe, clean dining environments.

Applicants should have or be willing to obtain a Safe Food Handler’s Certificate, be legally eligible to work in Canada, and pass a Vulnerable Sector Check. A Food Service Worker Certificate is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Experience in food service in institutional, healthcare, restaurant or hospitality.
• Food Service Worker Certificate is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals and serving meals.
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences.
• Take the menu orders from the residents.
• Set and clear tables in dining areas and sanitize them.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed.
