Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. seeks dedicated Community Personal Support Workers to join our home care team in Dundas, ON. You will travel to clients’ homes, delivering high-quality personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship to empower independence.

Responsibilities include following care plans, documenting observations, and communicating with supervisors. Availability for days, evenings, and every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or enrolled in Nursing pathway program.
• CPI Certification preferred
• Clinical PSW experience in past 2 years
• BLS certification and N95 mask fit test
• Immunizations up to date (MMRV, Hep B, Tdap/Td)
• TB test or chest X-ray up to date; vulnerable sector check required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per care plan, ensuring emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety.
• Deliver care within provincial PSW scope; assist with bathing, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
• Perform client-specific procedures with competent training.
• Document client observations and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow infection prevention practices and participate in ongoing education.
