Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. in Dundas, ON is seeking compassionate Community PSWs to travel to clients’ homes and provide high-quality personal care that supports independence in the community.

You will assist with daily living activities, document observations, and follow care plans. The role features a casual schedule with days, evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow while maintaining client safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or enrolled in a Nursing pathway program or a Nursing student.
• CPI Certification required (preferred).
• Clinical PSW experience within the past 2 years.
• Current BLS certification and N95 Mask Fit Test.
• Immunization proof for MMRV, Hepatitis B, and Tdap/Td.
• TB skin test within the past year or chest x-ray within 5 years.
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to meet emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety needs.
• Deliver care within provincial PSW scope; assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and reminders.
• Perform client-specific procedures with demonstrated competence.
• Observe and document client conditions; report changes to supervisor.
• Follow infection prevention practices and participate in safety activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete tasks as requested.

Education

PSW certificate or Nursing pathway student

CPI Certification

Clinical PSW experience (past 2 years)

BLS certification

N95 Mask Fit Test

Immunizations up to date (MMRV, Hepatitis B, Tdap)

TB test within 1 year or chest x-ray within 5 years
