Preferred Personal Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers (PSW) to join our team in Prince Edward County, Belleville, and Brighton, Ontario. Three vacancies, full and part-time options, with travel to client homes to provide person-centered support.

You will help individuals with disabilities in their homes, assisting with daily activities while promoting independence and wellbeing. Ideal candidates are patient, reliable, and dedicated to making a positive difference in homes and

Competenze

Diploma/degree or equivalent education (DCS/DEC required).
Minimum 1 year of supportive care experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, compassionate, and understanding approach.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
Travel to client homes throughout the area.

Mansioni

Provide emotional and practical support to clients.
Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
Support clients in maintaining independence and achieving their goals.
Develop and follow individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Recognize and respond to client needs and crisis situations.
Attend team meetings to discuss client progress and support needs.
Communicate and collaborate with other professionals and service providers as required.
Advocate for clients and help ensure their needs and rights are respected.
