Job summary

The Care Company Inc. is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide one-to-one home and community care across Toronto, the GTA, and Central Ontario regions.

You will help clients maintain safety, independence, and dignity in their homes, with opportunities for travel between client homes and consistent scheduling. Applicants must hold PSW certification, be able to communicate in English, have a valid driver’s license, and meet health and vaccination requirements, including

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
• PSW certification from an approved and recognized educational institution or International nursing/ doctorate Certification.
• Negative TB Test completed within the last year.
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• Valid WHMIS2015 Certificate of Completion.
• COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to exemption under Ontario Human Rights Code.
• Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, and Diphtheria; Hepatitis B strongly urged.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care to clients in their homes and community settings.
• Support clients to maintain safety, independence, dignity and quality of life at home.
• Travel to client homes within the service area and coordinate with Care Coordinators as needed.
