Job summary

Connective is seeking an enthusiastic Health Care Aide to join our nonprofit team in Prince George, BC. The role provides assistance with daily living activities, medication support, and tasks as delegated, aligned with resident service plans and privacy requirements.

Hours are 40 per week with rotating shifts (week1 08:00–16:00; week2 16:00–00:00). We offer comprehensive benefits, pension, training, and career development in a supportive, award-winning workplace.

Qualifications

• Care Aide/Community Health Worker certificate or equivalent.
• Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry is required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, grooming, eating, toileting).
• Follow resident service plans and coordinate with RN for delegated tasks.
• Provide housekeeping assistance and resident companionship.
• Report changes, maintain records on care and medications.
• Assist transfers to/from hospital and support new resident transitions.
