Victoria Landing Retirement Residence is seeking a Health Care Aide to provide direct resident care and environmental support under established standards and policies. The role reports to the Director of Care and emphasizes independence, teamwork, and adaptability across all shifts.

The successful candidate should hold a Health Care Aide Certificate and show commitment to confidentiality and culturally sensitive care. Experience and education combinations may also be considered as assets.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized Health Care Aide Program.
• Other combinations of suitable education and experience is an asset.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Demonstrated flexibility to adapt techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
• Ability to respect and promote confidentiality.
• Ability to perform duties on a regular basis.
• Available to work all shifts (evenings, nights, days and weekends).
