The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a Community & Family Services Worker to support families through compassionate intake, referral, and resource coordination. You will assist with food distribution, manage donations, and supervise volunteers within a faith-based, community-focused organization.

Responsibilities include coordinating special programs and maintaining records, while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two years of directly related experience in social services or family services.
• Formal post-secondary/college program of two academic years completed.
• Valid Alberta Class “5” Driver’s Licence and driving record acceptable to The Salvation Army.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial intake assessments and determine immediate needs and supports.
• Refer clients to internal and external programs/resources to best support clients.
• Organize and manage food donations, inventory, and distribution to clients/families.
• Supervise volunteers and assist with program operations and community outreach.
• Attend community meetings and promote community-based programs.
