Job summary

Hopewell Residential Management in Calgary is seeking a Community Sales Manager to lead on-site sales for residential communities. You will collaborate with the Sales Manager, manage client relationships, and ensure exceptional customer service.

The role requires 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in residential construction, strong market insights, and proficiency with Salesforce and NewStar; training will be provided for those tools.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive sales experience.
  • Previous experience in the residential construction industry, is preferred.
  • An understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Problem-solving.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and NewStar would be considered an asset but training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to set sales goals for the project.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork between the Sales Centre and central office.
  • Keep on-site showhomes and spec homes visually appealing.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of prospects in Salesforce and NewStar.
  • Document purchaser upgrades.
  • Build and maintain client and realtor relationships to drive business.
  • Stay informed on competitive data and inventory.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Represent HRM at Developer Builder meetings and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to establish and recommend sales goals for the project;
  • Maintain accuracy and timely flow of all required paperwork and legal documentation between the Sales Centre and the central office;
  • Maintain visual excellence of on-site Sales Centres, showhomes and spec homes;
  • Maintain an accurate and current database of all prospects using Salesforce and NewStar’s Client Management System;
  • Document Purchaser upgrades;
  • Develop and maintain client and realtor relationships to support business development opportunities through active and ongoing follow-up;
  • Remain current on competitive sales data and inventory;
  • Constructively handle responses to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and time sensitive manner;
  • Represent HRM at Developer Builder’s Meetings and other Developer related events;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Show home hours are Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Work and functions outside of show homes hours will be required.
