Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to manage in-store operations, provide counselling on prescriptions, and ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory, and professional standards. You will consult customers and health care providers, dispense medications as permitted, and help maintain dispensary operations.

The role emphasizes patient care, collaboration with other health professionals, and accurate documentation of records per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling on prescriptions, over the counter/behind the counter products.
• Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements.
• Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
• Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care.
• Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy.
