Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to manage the pharmacy operations on duty, provide consultations to customers and health care providers, and dispense medications in compliance with regulatory standards.

The role focuses on practicing to full scope, maintaining dispensary records, and collaborating with the health care circle to ensure patient care and privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, including providing consultation to customers and health care providers.
• Dispense medication and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed.
• Assist in maintaining the dispensary and record-keeping in accordance with legislation and policy.
• Communicate with other health care professionals to provide customer care.
• Maintain privacy requirements including confidentiality and consent management.
• Review and manage stock and workflow queues daily to ensure efficient service.
