Job summary

Lifecentre.Care in Ottawa is hiring an Outreach Coordinator to lead the community outreach programs, volunteer engagement, and client services within Lifecentre.Care’s food bank ecosystem.

The role reports to the CEO, providing hands-on leadership by coordinating volunteers, developing partnerships, and ensuring high-quality services that align with Lifecentre.Care’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit or community settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of outreach and food bank services.
• Coach and direct volunteers and outreach teams.
• Develop and implement efficient procedures.
• Ensure programs operate safely and effectively.
• Monitor KPIs and report to CEO.
• Build strategic partnerships and community relations.
• Oversee grants reporting and program evaluations.
