Job summary

ICNA Relief Canada seeks an organized Events, Outreach and Volunteer Management Coordinator to lead planning for conferences, community events, and fundraising activities. You will build relationships with mosques, community groups, NGOs, schools, and donors while managing volunteers and programs.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and budgeting skills, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed. In-person work will be required to engage with communities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Non-profit Management.
• Experience working in a non-profit, charitable, community-based, or faith-based organization.
• Experience with fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, donor relations, and volunteer management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver conferences, community events, fundraising activities, workshops, and programs, overseeing logistics and budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with mosques, Islamic centers, NGOs, schools, donors, and community partners to expand reach.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns through social media, newsletters, email, and networks to increase attendance and participation.
• Support fundraising campaigns, sponsorship development, donor relations, and funding opportunities.
• Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, supervise, and recognize volunteers for positive experiences.
