Job summary

The Ottawa Food Bank is seeking a Coordinator, Program and Planning (Temporary Full-Time) to support the Programs and Planning team with administrative tasks, project coordination, and data reporting. The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, information management, and ensuring continuity during staffing transitions.

Ideal candidates bring post-secondary education in a related field and 1–2 years of coordination experience, with strong MS 365 skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Social Work, Business Administration, Public Administration, Community Development, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of office, administrative, or project coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with multitasking ability.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
• Comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative data using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Programs and Planning team.
• Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and maintain project records.
• Support reporting, data management, and evaluation activities.
• Engage with internal staff, member agencies, and community partners on project work.
• Ensure professional, confidential handling of information and stakeholder communications.
