Position Title: Manager, Community Outreach and Development
Reporting to: Executive Director
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This position also requires working outside of regular operational hours including evenings and weekends.
Work location: This position requires onsite work.
Duration: One Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: $67,000 per annum including a robust benefits package

JOB SUMMARY
The Outreach and Development Manager will align development activities with the agency’s strategic priorities. The primary responsibilities for this position include proposal writing; third party and internal events (i.e. summer fest etc.); donor stewardship and volunteer and student placements within the agency. The Development Manager will provide coordination and management for the implementation and evaluation of the organization’s fund development strategies, secure corporate, individual and other sources of revenue. Select, recruit, train and supervise the volunteer staff and student placements in the organization. Ensuring that the organization is always staffed with the best and most reliable Volunteers, correctly utilized for the fulfillment of the organization’s objectives and goals.
