Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Business Development Manager in Eastern Canada to join our dynamic Corporate Development team, supporting the growth of nearly 300 acquired pharmacy locations across Canada.

Our Support Office is located in Toronto, Ontario.

Location:

This role is remote, with frequent travel throughout Eastern Canada and occasional national travel.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and drive an acquisition pipeline supporting sustainable growth. The role is vital in expanding our market presence and achieving strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:
2. Research potential acquisitions, partnership opportunities, and explore new markets in the retail pharmacy sector.
3. Develop strategies to establish relationships with pharmacies, especially in Eastern Canada.
4. Create and strengthen relationships with pharmacy owners and key industry stakeholders.
5. Understand client needs to offer tailored solutions for independent pharmacy owners.
6. Collaborate with the Corporate Development team to facilitate acquisitions.

Reporting:

1. Use CRM platforms to record Business Development activities accurately.
2. Provide timely updates on the sales pipeline.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
• Proven success in Business Development.
• Experience and relationships within the pharmacy industry are preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel to meet pharmacy owners and attend industry events.
