Job description

IM8 is a next-generation health and longevity brand co-founded by David Beckham and Prenetics (NASDAQ: PRE), on a mission to make world-class nutritional science accessible to everyone. Launched in late 2024, IM8 grew Q1 2026 revenue nearly 6x year-over-year to $33.8M, and the company has raised full-year 2026 IM8 revenue guidance to $190M–$210M. Over 60% of revenue is generated outside the US. We ship to 43 countries, and our athlete partner roster includes David Beckham, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Aryna Sabalenka, Ollie Bearman, and Inter Miami CF.

We are built on science, not story — our flagship Daily Ultimate Essentials carries 90 active ingredients, we run randomized controlled trials on our products, and we hold a clinical-grade standard in a category notorious for shortcuts.

Our business is subscription at its core. Every basis point of NRR we add compounds — into LTV, into payback, into the ability to outspend everyone else on acquisition. Retention isn't a department at IM8. It is the model.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Community Manager - IM8, based in Toronto, to own our community on the ground and become the single front door for every inbound event, partnership, and activation opportunity in the market. You will be where the brand meets real people - turning interest into community, and community into advocacy.

Your mandate: capture every inbound event and turn it into community, and every community member into an advocate - consistently, on-brand, every time.

What You'll Do

  • Own the inbound engine
  • Be the front door for every inbound event, partnership, pop-up, and collaboration request that comes IM8's way in Toronto.
  • Triage, qualify, and prioritize opportunities fast - and build a simple system so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Turn a messy inbox of "can we collab?" into a clear, trackable pipeline of activations worth saying yes to.

Build the Toronto community

  • Grow and nurture IM8's community in Toronto, online and in real life.
  • Turn customers, athletes, partners, and fans into a connected community that shows up for the brand.
  • Be a visible, trusted presence in the city's health, fitness, and wellness scenes.

Run events and activations

  • Plan and execute local events, pop-ups, and brand activations end to end - concept to follow-up.
  • Coordinate athletes and ambassadors, venues, vendors, logistics, and on-the-day execution.
  • Make every IM8 moment feel premium and unmistakably on-brand.

Own community channels and voice

  • Manage community touchpoints - DMs, groups, comments, and community email - responding fast, human, and on-brand.
  • Be the voice people remember, and the first to hear what the community loves and where it hurts.

Close the loop with data

  • Track inbound volume, event ROI, community growth, and sentiment.
  • Report what's working, kill what isn't, and feed insight back to marketing and product.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in community, events, partnerships, or brand marketing - or a clear, specific reason the benchmark doesn't apply to your trajectory.
  • Based in Toronto with a real, local network you can activate from day one.
  • An exceptional written voice and genuine people instincts - you make strangers feel like insiders.
  • A sharp operator who can run events without dropping a single detail.
  • Comfortable being the face in the room and the calm behind the scenes.

Non-Negotiable

  • You have personally built or grown a community, or run real events, at meaningful scale - or a clear, specific reason why that benchmark doesn't apply to your trajectory. If you can't make that case in a sentence, this isn't your role.
  • Bias to action, not vibes. You want to shape the community playbook, not inherit one.

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships with Toronto venues, gyms, run clubs, studios, and creator communities.
  • A real passion for health, longevity, fitness, or performance.
  • Experience working with athletes, ambassadors, or influencers.
  • Content creation chops - you can capture a moment as well as create one.

You Must Be AI-Native

Active, fluent daily AI tool usage is mandatory, not optional. We expect you to be embedding AI into every workflow you touch on day one.
