Job summary

Inclusion Powell River is seeking a Program Manager in Powell River to lead and supervise residence programs, ensuring operations meet policy and funder requirements. You will guide the team, support direct service staff, and uphold the agency’s mission and values.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on quality care and strategic goal attainment for individuals served by the organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform duties of the community and residential support worker.
• Interact effectively and develop positive relationships with clients and families.
• Knowledge of theory, principles and practices of the community living sector, with emphasis on developing personal networks for clients.

Responsibilities

• The Program Manager is responsible for managing one or more programs including residences. They are responsible for supervision, performance evaluation, and progressive discipline of the program team(s).
• They provide leadership to the team(s). They ensure day-to-day operations of each assigned program are efficient and aligned with Inclusion Powell River’s policies and the contract with the funder.
• They provide leadership and direction to staff providing direct support in the programs where they are assigned and ensure the agency's vision, values, philosophy and goals are realized.
• They are a dedicated member of the organization-wide support team providing leadership and direction to the agency.
• They may provide direct services to individuals living in homes and programs as needed and ensure strategic goals are met.
