Job summary

Encompass Support Services Society in Langley, BC, seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead program development and service delivery. Reporting to the executive team, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with policies, and coordinate services across departments.

You will guide staff, manage contracts and budgets, and promote best practices in crisis response, family support, and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Completion of a degree in a social science or a discipline relevant to the social services sector.
• Five (5) years’ experience in the social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial support systems.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ progressively more responsible program management, financial, supervisory/leadership and relevant experience.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary health care teams and primary care is a significant asset;
• Experience with developing policies and procedures and designing and delivering community programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to programs to ensure program/service delivery is consistent with organization’s mandate, policy & procedures, accreditation, contractual, budgetary and other requirements.
• Provides direct participant care or best practice guidance when needed.
• Available for crisis interventions, debriefing, and consultation.
• Ensures statistical and program reporting is accurate, timely and complete for submission to funders.
• Leads evaluation procedures and develops annual program outcome and performance reports.
