Qualifications

• Postsecondary education with 3 years related experience in a financial institution or equivalent
• Proven track record in sales
• CSC or IFIC course asset
• Continuing education enrolled in Financial Planning or similar programs
• Experience in providing credit solutions

Responsibilities

• Meets sales targets by delivering products and services that meet members'/clients' needs
• Promote and deliver a full range of banking products and services
• Attend and participate in branch meetings, huddles, initiatives and campaigns
• Maximize sales opportunities using effective interviewing to uncover needs
• Provide financial advice for investment/credit needs using Alterna's calculators
• Acquire and refer potential high-value members/clients to IA, SME, and external partners
• Maintain knowledge of all products and procedures and stay updated on changes
• Understand and apply risk-based pricing to ensure profitability
• Use sales and service tools to support interactions with members/clients
• Develop and implement proactive member calls and retention leads
• Follow through on referrals and self-generated leads
• Identify personal development needs and participate in coaching sessions
