Job summary

Alterna Savings in Toronto is seeking a full-time Personal Banking Associate at Lakeshore Branch to help new and existing members. You will greet walk-ins, assess financial needs, and promote a full range of banking products and services.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education with at least 2 years in sales or equivalent.
• Financial services industry experience is an asset.
• Experience in providing credit solutions is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets by delivering banking products and services.
• Probe to uncover additional needs and cross-sell/up-sell at every interaction.
• Educate members on basic transactional banking, and on investments, loans and mortgages.
• Identify and refer high value members to appropriate staff.
• Adhere to anti-money laundering and other compliance guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services and provide education.
