As a key member of the communications division, the communications specialist provides coordination services and content development support to meet the pCPAu2019s core business goals and priorities. Areas of support include corporate communications, translation, editing, and public affairs.u202fu00a0
The person holding this position also plays a critical role in ensuring the pCPA lives up to its pan-Canadian nature by supporting internal and external partners in both official languages. Bilingual capability u2014 both in terms of coordination skills and linguistic proficiency in French and English u2014 enables the pCPA to support francophones from across the country in a greater and more meaningful way.u202fu202fu00a0
The communications specialist holds a post-secondary degree in communications, translation, journalism, public relations or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and more than two yearsu2019 experience. They have experience leading media monitoring, communications development, and engagement activities.u202fu202fu00a0
The ideal candidate has exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. Additionally, they have a strong passion for engagement and a commitment to building an effective and dynamic organizational culture.u202fu202fu00a0
