Responsibilities for Security Team Lead

• Brief and review the team on deportment, pass-on, and foreseeable issues for the day. Revise process/duties for fire drills, removals, or any other process.
• Ensure site safety and all vulnerable points are continuously audited and delegate and deploy the team accordingly.
• Assist Site Supervisor with training and onsite exams for new hires.
• Review and export CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to various tenants.
• Review reports with the team daily through the portal.
• Must be able to cover a guard's shift on an as-needed basis.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations with the shift supervisor.

Qualifications for Security Team Lead

• 1-3 years experience in security team lead or supervisor role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid Alberta Security license.
• Must be able to work 2/2/3 0700-1900 rotational schedule.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations.
• Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, exercise good judgment and discretion.
• Understanding of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act, including powers of arrest.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
