Job summary

Lawrie Insurance Group Inc. in Hamilton is seeking an Account Associate, Commercial Lines to support our Commercial Lines team and deliver exceptional client service. You will prepare and issue certificates, process policy documents, assist with renewals and inquiries, and help prepare renewal presentations and quotes.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and teamwork; proficiency with Word and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance
• Checking and processing of policy documents; new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations to send to the client
• Request driver abstracts, AutoPlus reports
• Issuing client invoices
• Issue liability slips
• Assist with preparing renewal presentations
• Prepare and issue client finance quotes and contracts
• Assist with client changes, updating Excel and advising insuring partners
• Review client’s current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements
• Assist with inputting and reporting new claims and follow up detail
• Assist Customer Service Brokers and/or Producers with client inquiries or rush assignments as requested

The salary range for this replacement role is $45,000 - $55,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
