Job summary

HUB International in Alberta seeks an experienced Commercial Account Manager to support property and casualty clients. You will develop relationships with producers and underwriters, balance client needs with risk spread, and collaborate with teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Required is a Level 2 license with progression toward CAIB or CIP, a post-secondary degree or equivalent, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of commercial property & casualty experience.
• Level 2 license; pursuing CAIB or CIP designation.
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C coverages, binding authorities and terms.
• Understanding HUB International insurer products and risk spreading.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with underwriters and clients.
• Proven negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
• High integrity and strong written/oral communication.
• Proficient in MS Office, Broker Management Software, Policy Works and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with producers and underwriters.
• Balances client needs with spread of risk across insurers.
• Reports to Commercial Marketing Manager/Coordinator.
• Collaborates with internal and external clients to maximize value.
• Works from the Grande Prairie Office as needed.
