Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven track record managing large-scale commercial construction from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, bidding, negotiation, and risk management.
• Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CM software and financial tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from planning to handover.

About the Role

This senior role demands a comprehensive understanding of all phases of construction, from pre-construction services to project close-out, with a strong focus on budget adherence, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing project teams, subcontractors, and all site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within financial parameters. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader with a proven track record in commercial construction and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting through to final completion and handover.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.
• Manage project financials, including cost control, budget forecasting, change order management, and invoice processing.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and external consultants.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes throughout the construction process.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance and address any issues that arise in Kimberley .
