Job summary

GardaWorld in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a team of on-site security guards, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier customer service on a commercial site. You will rally guards across shifts, manage schedules, and enforce site protocols.

The role offers a wage of CAD 25.70 per hour, GardaWorld Academy training, 12-hour shifts (2 days on, 2 nights), opportunities for career advancement, and uniform provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• 1–3 years of security and team management experience.
• Valid security license.
• First aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of on-site security guards
• Manage and maintain the daily schedule of the team
• Ensure all security guards follow and stay updated on instructions
• Issue and manage access cards
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Enforce site protocol and site cards as required
• All other related duties

As a Security Supervisor on one of our commercial sites, you will be leading a team of guards, ensuring that security operations run smoothly and providing exceptional customer service. You will work with people from all shifts in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications for Shift Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• This supervisor position is a key step, but certainly not the last.
• Excellent leadership skills
• 1-3 number of years of experience in security and team management
• First aid certification is an asset
• Hold a valid security license
