Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Shift Supervisor in Brantford, Ontario. You will lead an on-site security team, coordinate schedules, and ensure adherence to post orders while delivering excellent client service.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, incident coaching, and clear communication across shifts. A permanent, Monday–Friday schedule and GardaWorld Academy training are offered alongside uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• 3–5 years of experience in security and team management.
• First aid certification mandatory.
• Hold a valid security license.
• Strong knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Power of Arrest.
• Full G Ontario driver’s license with 3–5 years of driving experience and clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the on-site security team.
• Manage daily schedules and assist with filling open shifts.
• Ensure guards follow site instructions, procedures, and post orders.
• Provide coaching and support for team and individual development.
• Provide clear direction during incidents and emergencies.
• Manage access cards and access-control requirements.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports accurately.
• Maintain communication with client, guards, and management.

Qualifications for Tactical Security Shift Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• This supervisor position is a key step, but certainly not the last.
• Excellent leadership skills
• 3-5 number of years of experience in security and team management
• First aid certification mandatory
• Hold a valid security license
