GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in Toronto, Ontario to monitor security systems, control access, and document incidents. This part-time role offers weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 07:00-19:00) with an hourly wage of 19.50 CAD and GardaWorld Academy education support.

The successful candidate will patrol premises, respond to incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement when needed. Uniforms are provided, and opportunities for career growth exist.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid security license.
• G2 driving license with Clean driving Abstract.
• WSIB First aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalat ing in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Qualifications for Gatehouse Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• Hold a valid WSIB Approved First aid certification

• Must have G2/G driving license with Clean driving Abstract
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
