As Softchoice’s Commercial Acquisition Account Executive (CAAE), you’ll be the dynamic force that helps businesses seize the enormous opportunities of digital transformation. Your primary goal is to acquire new buying accounts (NBAs) while expanding your territory and growing your customer base. You thrive in a team selling model, pivoting effortlessly to meet ever-changing customer needs. Your versatility and agility in learning allow you to take the perspective of others and turn it into innovative solutions. By challenging prospects and customers out of their comfort zones, you not only sustain but also strengthen our relationships. You will help our customers bridge gaps in their business, and reach their goals through technology. Best of all, you do it all alongside one of North America’s most trusted technology services and solutions providers.

We are seeking candidates in Calgary, AB. This role is hybrid with the expectation of going into the office once a week & completing 8 on-site client visits weekly.

What you’ll do:

  • The Commercial Acquisition Account Executive (CAAE) is a direct quota carrier, focused on developing prospect accounts leveraging cold calling and acquisition strategies in an assigned territory.

  • Understand customer needs, motivations, and potential objections.

  • Predict and influence buyer behavior and align with customer needs.

  • Prioritize the customer in everything you do and view selling as a strategic partnership.

  • Partner with executives from leading tech companies to develop creative and innovative solutions.

  • Continuously enhance your business acumen, manage your pipeline efficiently, and demonstrate leadership when challenges arise.

  • Manage all aspects of account management, including processing quotes and orders, and exceeding customer expectations.

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years' experience in a B2B sales environment.

  • Experience in prospecting and cold calling, with a successful track record of acquiring new buying accounts.

  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets and market growth plans.

  • Experience in outbound selling is a plus.

  • Active listening skills and the ability to pivot your pitch based on real-time customer information.

  • High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.

  • Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients.

  • Problem-solving skills with an ability to think outside the box.

  • A driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
