The Role

The Account Executive (AE) role at Zyte is considered a business-critical position. This role drives new business acquisition and top-line revenue growth. The sales team is highly target-oriented, tasked with achieving monthly and quarterly booking and invoice objectives, while strategically driving growth in areas dictated by business needs.

You will work with a team comprising a Sales Manager, an Account Executive, a Business Development Representative (BDR), and a Solutions Architect (SA). Your primary responsibility will be winning new business in net new accounts. You will receive Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) from a BDR and will progress these through the sales cycle to closure. You will also create opportunities through outbound campaigns targeting strategic prospects. Your goal is to understand customer business goals and needs, and to meet targets by offering Zyte products that are the best fit, leveraging your product knowledge. You will collaborate closely with the Demand Generation team, providing feedback on lead quality and conversion rates.

Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Possess significant experience in outbound sales
  • Generate appointments via email, phone, social media, and networking to qualify and promote Zyte solutions
  • Proactively contact strategic prospects to create opportunities and close deals
  • Apply strong selling and influencing skills to gain customer commitment
  • Promptly follow up on all SQLs via phone/email and document results accurately
  • Qualify customers through detailed questioning and score them internally based on their likelihood to convert
  • Accurately forecast your sales pipeline using Zyte's Sales Methodology
  • Maintain high standards in logging, tracking, and updating customer contact records in the CRM system
  • Attend customer meetings and conferences as required
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in an outbound sales role
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and activity quotas
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong deal-closing and negotiation skills
  • Effective team player
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating on Account-Based Marketing initiatives
  • Understanding of web crawling/data harvesting is a plus
  • Experience selling SaaS/PaaS to enterprise accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity, initiative, and commercial awareness
  • Experience with sales analytics and pipeline management techniques
