Job summary

Mowen Insurance Brokers o/a A Division of Oracle RMS in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR with strong client service and Microsoft Office skills. The role requires at least 5 years of experience and a valid RIBO license; you will service existing accounts, review policies, and support underwriters.

You will collaborate with underwriters, manage renewals, assist with new business processing, and handle billing changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager / CSR.
• RIBO License is required and willing to work 2 days a week in the office.
• Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to work as a team and work well under pressure.
• Superior organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining positive client relations.
• Carry a positive demeanor and outlook when it comes to customer management and service.
• Collaborate with our Underwriters daily and maintain a strong and positive relationship.
• Review property appraisals, reports and identify/make recommendations on limits and coverages.
• Review new business and renewal policies making recommendations on limits and coverages.
• E-Docs/Renewal lists – review coverages and handle accordingly per producer.
• Manage client policy renewals as well as re-market existing clients when necessary.
• Process outstanding payments and banking information changes.
• Transact and Invoice Agency Bill Policies.
• Follow up on abeyances daily.
• Quote policy changes through company portals.
• Assist Account Executives with renewals, policy changes and new business processing.
• Ability to problem solve and use appropriate judgment when assessing a risk or issue.
