Job summary

Coughlin Insurance Brokers is expanding into Western Canada and seeking a results-driven Commercial Account Executive to join our sales team. You will generate new business, manage a portfolio of commercial clients, and deliver tailored insurance solutions in collaboration with carrier partners.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in commercial insurance sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a Level 2 license in BC or AB (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Level 2 license in BC or AB (or willingness to obtain).
• Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Applied EPIC is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective commercial clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach
• Conduct needs assessments and present customized insurance solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to policy binding
• Provide ongoing client service and policy renewals support
• Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure a seamless client experience
• Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes
