Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Customer Service.
• Friendly, empathetic and dynamic; able to build trust with clients.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and stay professional during high-volume periods.
• Self-driven to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Process all claims and work orders.
• Prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Offer an efficient, courteous, professional experience for our customers during repairs.
• Enhance body shop reputation by owning tasks and adding value.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverages, deductibles, etc.
• Manage and maintain body shop rental fleet and related billings to insurers.
• Book appointments for repairs and estimates; understand the insurance process.
• Assist Repair Planner with ordering parts and creating Repair Orders.
• Explain repairs completed on the vehicle to the customer.

Capital Chevrolet Buick GMC Calgary is looking for a dedicated and energetic Collision Repair Advisor to join our Body Shop. In this role, you’ll be the key link between our customers and our repair team, ensuring every client receives seamless, professional, and empathetic support throughout their vehicle’s repair process. The Job

• Process all claims and work orders
• Prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Offer an efficient, courteous, professional experience for our customers, while being adaptable to the needs of our customers
• Enhances body shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Communicates with insurance company on a regular basis regarding coverages, deductibles, etc
• Manages and maintains body shop rental fleet including billings to the insurance company
• Keeps accurate mileages, fuel tanks, oil changes, etc
• Books appointments for both repairs and estimates, with a good understanding of the insurance process
• Assists Repair Planner with ordering parts and creating Repair Orders
• Collection of payment owed to Capital Automotive Group or to the insurance company
• Explains repairs completed on the vehicle to the customer

The Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Customer Service
• Experience in a Body Shop environment would be considered an asset
• Friendly, empathetic, and dynamic, attentive and able to build a relationship of trust with the client
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods
• Self-driven to work independently with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset but not mandatory
• Valid Drivers license
