Capital Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc is seeking a dependable Bodyshop Porter to support the Bodyshop Department in keeping vehicles organized and ready for customer delivery. You will move vehicles, wash and present them, greet customers, and assist advisors and technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced dealership environment across our Western Canadian network.

Are you dependable, organized, and customer-focused? Join our service team as a Bodyshop Porter. The Bodyshop Porter plays a key role in maintaining the flow of operations within the dealership by ensuring vehicles are properly handled, organized, and presented to enhance customer satisfaction. This role supports the Bodyshop Department with tasks that contribute to an exceptional customer experience while maintaining a clean and organized dealership environment.

Essential Duties

• Safely move vehicles to and from service bays, parking areas, and the dealership lot as required
• Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas, organized, and easily accessible
• Wash and vacuum vehicles as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with vehicle drop-off and pick-up
• Perform quick checks (e.g., fuel, wipers) to ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and surrounding areas
• Perform regular checks for any hazards or obstructions, reporting issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies
• Report any incidents, damage, or safety concerns immediately
• Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle-related tasks, including organizing keys, retrieving vehicles, and maintaining an efficient workflow
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Prior experience in a dealership or automotive setting is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Friendly demeanor and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
