Job summary

Banff Caribou Properties Ltd. in Banff is seeking a skilled cocktail bartender to deliver an elevated bar experience and memorable guest moments.

You will craft classics and house cocktails, guide guests through menus, and work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.

ProServe certification is required; candidates should bring passion for quality, great presentation, and a friendly, engaging demeanor to the team.

Qualifications

• Previous cocktail bartending experience is required.
• ProServe certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits and wine.
• Confident, personable, and knowledgeable when engaging with guests.
• Passion for quality, creativity, flavour and presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve classic and modern cocktails to a high standard.
• Create a warm, engaging and knowledgeable guest experience.
• Guide guests through the cocktail, wine and spirits menu with thoughtful recommendations.
• Prepare drinks for bar and dining room service.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked bar.
• Complete daily bar prep and uphold high presentation standards.
• Collaborate with FOH and kitchen teams to deliver smooth service.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and Alberta liquor legislation.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Previous cocktail bartending experience required
• Valid ProServe certification required
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, and wine
• Confident, personable, and knowledgeable when engaging with guests
• Passion for quality, creativity, flavour, and presentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Positive, team-focused attitude with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
