Job summary

IMCD Group is seeking a results-driven technical sales professional to grow a dedicated territory in Canada, focusing on coatings and construction applications. You will engage new and existing customers by phone, qualify leads, present the IMCD value proposition, and manage a robust pipeline using Salesforce.

You will contribute to meeting KPIs, maintain product knowledge through ongoing training, and collaborate with management to tailor strategic sales approaches while delivering exceptional

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree is necessary.
• Polymer chemistry background and/or formulation knowledge in coatings or construction preferred.
• Must be proficient with computer systems and software.
• 0–3 years technical sales experience in coatings & construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the assigned sales territory, primarily by telephone.
• Meet or exceed KPIs including budget, call frequency and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospect customers.
• Qualify leads and articulate the IMCD value proposition.
• Manage onboarding of new customers and transition of accounts.
• Keep product knowledge current through IMCD Academy sessions.
• Prioritize tasks to meet customer deadlines.
• Solve problems and determine root causes to implement corrective actions.
• Track opportunities in Salesforce and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Collaborate with directors to determine strategic sales approaches.
