Advanced Bending Technologies (ABT) in Calgary, AB is seeking a hands-on Coater Helper to support coating and finishing operations. You will assist with coating applications, material prep, equipment maintenance, quality inspections, and production duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We offer competitive CA$20.00 to CA$30.00 per hour based on experience, with benefits such as extended health care, vision coverage and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, paint, and coat products per work orders.
• Apply rubber and pyroxylin coatings.
• Support sandblasting and coating processes.
• Handle and move raw materials and finished products safely.
• Maintain coating equipment and tools.
• Inspect quality and document production records.
• Assist with production bending operations after setup.
• Torch cutting and saw cutting as needed.
• Wash, sand fill, and prepare parts for shipment.

About the Role

As a Coater Helper, you will play an important role in supporting our coating and finishing operations. Working alongside experienced team members, you will assist with coating applications, material preparation, equipment maintenance, quality inspections, and general production duties.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, paint, and coat products according to work orders and specifications
• Assist with the application of rubber and pyroxylin coatings
• Support sandblasting and coating processes
• Handle and move raw materials and finished products safely
• Clean and maintain coating equipment, tools, and work areas
• Measure, inspect, label, and package products for shipment
• Assist with production bending operations after setup is completed
• Torch cutting
• Saw cutting
• Washing
• Sand filling
• Follow quality standards and maintain accurate production records
• Work safely while contributing to a clean and organized facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous paint, coating, sandblasting, or industrial manufacturing experience

• Experience working in fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environments
