Co-op Scheduler: 4D Projects & Dashboards

Job summary

Bird Construction is seeking a student co-op in Mississauga for 8 or 12 months starting January 2027. The role focuses on schedule development, analysis, and reporting with support from a supervisor and technical mentor.

You will assist in baseline scheduling, 4D schedule creation, progress tracking, and dashboards while collaborating with project teams to drive timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering, Architectural, or Construction Management program.
• Will complete at least one more semester and maintain GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Eligibility to work in Canada; client project work may require tests.
• Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P6 is an asset; Power BI is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in baseline schedule development, validation, and maintenance.
• Analyze scope quantities from drawings and estimate durations using internal data.
• Support PM by updating project schedules weekly and assessing progress.
• Collaborate with Virtual Construction to develop 4D schedules and dashboards.
• Prepare schedule reports for client and senior management.
• Coordinate schedule inputs from project stakeholders and review subcontractor schedules.
