Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Scheduling Student to contribute to project scheduling activities. This 4 or 8 month assignment offers exposure to real projects within our Canadian Buildings Division and the support of a Scheduling Manager.

You will assist with schedule creation, monitor updates for projects, and gain hands-on experience with Primavera, MS Project, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite while collaborating with the scheduling team.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project or Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with the scheduling group.

Responsibilities

• Assists with schedule creation.
• Updates for small projects based on direction from Scheduling Manager.
• Creates schedule content and completes schedule updates as directed.
• Assists schedulers with monitoring and communicating the project schedules to project and scheduling team.
• Basic Knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods, and materials.
