Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is seeking a Mobile Domain Systems Engineering intern for a full-time co-op based in Calgary, AB, Canada. This role blends remote and onsite work with a minimum of two days on site each week.

You will help design new system capabilities, collaborate with customers, product teams, and engineers, and support SW/FW development across the product life cycle to ensure proper implementation and testing.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Programming experience required.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support automation of radios testing procedures.
• Provide system and product level design and support for the Mobile Domain within LCSS.
• Document system and subsystem requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases.
• Manage System Problem Reports (SPRs) and Observations by providing upfront analysis and input to support bug fixes.
• Interface with GDMS-C systems engineers, supporting product development teams and system integration teams as well as external subcontractors.
• Support internal, external customer and IPT meetings as needed.
