Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is offering a Co-op Winter 2027 in Software Engineering (TacCIS Solutions) for a 12-month term in Calgary. As an intern, you will contribute to embedded software projects and hardware/software integration within defence-grade systems.

You will work on ARM/microprocessor software, C/C++, and C# development, using Git and VS Code, while gaining exposure to networking products and secure communications in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Embedded development (C/C++) experience
• Software development with C#
• Experience with Git and VS Code
• Familiarity with AI/ML models
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in CS/SE/EE/CE

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for ARM/microprocessors
• Contribute to software for intercoms and networking products
• Assist in hardware-software integration and retrofitting of military vehicles with comms gear
• Collaborate across teams in a hybrid work environment
