Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is offering a 16-month Software Engineering Developer co-op for Winter 2027. You will contribute to design, coding, testing, and documentation within an international TacCIS team focused on armoured vehicle CIS solutions.

You must be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program and eligible for a co-op term; AI/ML familiarity is a plus. Hybrid work arrangement may apply and compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

Enrolled at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution and eligible for a co-op term.
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience or familiarity with AI/ML models preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform design, analysis and testing under mentorship of senior engineers.
Document analyses, designs and tests using prescribed templates.
Implement software routines to meet requirements and maintain code quality.
Assist with integration testing and debug of implementations.
Contribute to design verification testing under supervision.
Investigate issues and provide root-cause analyses.
Support internal customers and participate in design reviews.
