Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is offering a Winter 2027 Co-op in Software Engineering (TacCIS Solutions) for 12 months. You will work as an intern on embedded development, C/C++, and firmware for ARM-based systems in a hybrid environment, contributing to military-grade communications and vehicle modernization projects.

Eligible students in CS/SE/EE/CE programs, with exposure to Git and VS Code, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in embedded development (C/C++), software development (C#), Git, and VS Code.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become a wizard of ARM processors and microprocessors for military-grade applications.
• Transform vehicles into high-tech communication platforms through advanced electronics.
• Dive into intercoms and networking products to keep troops connected.
• Retrofit tanks and armored vehicles with cutting-edge comms gear.
• Contribute code that drives hardware and command-post systems.
