Job summary

WELL Health Clinic Network Inc. is seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Toronto. The CA will work with the physician to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with procedures, and support efficient medical services in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are patient-focused, clinically competent, and experienced in family medicine, with EMR proficiency. The role is part-time and on-site at WELL Health - Weston & Lawrence, Toronto.

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure/registration in Ontario, Canada.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in family medicine.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions under physician supervision.
• Treat acute and chronic concerns in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications per regulatory guidelines.
• Assist physician during procedures and surgeries.
• Provide wound care, immunizations, PAP tests, Mantoux tests.
