Job summary

Broadway Dental Group in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead daily operations, staff performance, and patient experience. You will drive scheduling, budgeting, billing oversight, and team coaching to deliver exceptional care in a welcoming environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a compensation range of 38–42 CAD per hour, plus a bonus structure and parking/health spending benefits. Join a Great Place to Work certified organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a dental clinic setting with 3+ years in leadership.
• Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, people-first leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage internal office protocols for overall efficiency.
• Hire, train, and develop new office staff to meet patients’ needs.
• Manage staff schedules and timesheets; oversee HR functions at both clinics.
• Create and manage an effective office budget.
• Oversee insurance claims processing and billing accuracy.
• Lead the team to provide outstanding client service.
• Greet patients professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and optimize clinic workflow.
• Answer calls promptly and route inquiries appropriately.
• Use Tracker software and MaxAssist systems; assist with marketing.
• Uphold clinic culture and positive work environment.

Working closely with the Regional Director, you’ll take ownership of the clinic’s day-to-day operations and performance. What You’ll Be Doing

• Establish and manage internal office protocols and procedures to ensure overall office efficiency.
• Hire, train, and develop new office staff to meet patients’ needs and uphold the clinic’s standards.
• Develop and manage staff schedules and timesheets, overseeing other HR functions at both clinics.
• Create, implement, and manage an effective office budget.
• Oversee the processing of insurance claims and billing systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver individual and team leadership to ensure all office employees provide outstanding client service.
• Greet patients professionally and cheerfully, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and organize the clinic schedule to optimize workflow.
• Answer and appropriately route phone calls, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Utilize experience in internal and external marketing to enhance clinic visibility and community engagement.
• Train staff on the use of Tracker software (training provided) and manage MaxAssist systems.
• Perform other office administration duties as required.
• Uphold and protect the culture at the clinic, fostering a positive and engaging work environment

What You’ll Bring

• At least 5 years of dental clinic setting experience and at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols.
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Friendly, professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively, working independently and as part of a dynamic team.
