Our client is seeking a Client Service Manager to lead operations across Central Vancouver Island from a newly established Nanaimo office. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee client relationships, support a frontline workforce, drive business growth, and play a key role in maintaining service excellence across a diverse portfolio of commercial, government, and industrial clients.

A typical day:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention
- Lead and support a team responsible for delivering exceptional service across the region
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities through networking, community engagement, and business development activities
- Participate in proposals, contract renewals, and implementation of new service agreements
- Oversee staffing requirements, workforce planning, and employee performance in partnership with Human Resources
- Respond to operational issues and provide after-hours support as required
- Monitor regional performance, contribute to budgeting discussions, and maintain an understanding of key financial metrics
- Represent the organization at industry and community events to enhance visibility and strengthen partnerships
Successful candidates will have:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, client services, security, retail, hospitality, or a related leadership environment
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage employee performance, and build a positive workplace culture
- Strong business development, networking, and client relationship management skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior leaders, executives, and decision-makers
- Solid business acumen with the ability to understand financial reports and basic profit-and-loss statements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with the ability to travel throughout the region
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with a high degree of autonomy
